Agreement to Terms

By engaging Taxes - The Financial Services Corp. ("we," "our," or "us") for tax preparation, accounting, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Services Provided

We provide the following services:

• Individual and business tax preparation
• Estate, gift, and trust tax services
• Bookkeeping and accounting services
• Payroll processing
• Tax planning and consulting
• IRS representation
• Business formation assistance

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
• Review all documents and returns before signing
• Respond promptly to our requests for information
• Notify us of any changes to your financial situation
• Maintain copies of documents provided to us
• Pay for services in accordance with our fee agreement

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. We rely on your representations and are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information. We may request documentation to verify information provided.

Fees and Payment

Fee Structure

Our fees are based on the complexity of your tax situation and the services required. We will provide you with a fee estimate before beginning work. Additional charges may apply if your situation is more complex than initially anticipated.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
• We accept cash, check, credit card, and electronic payments
• A deposit may be required for certain services
• Returns will not be filed until payment is received

Refund Policy

Fees for completed services are generally non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us to discuss your concerns. We will work with you to resolve any issues.

Document Retention

We retain copies of tax returns and supporting documents for a minimum of seven years. Original documents will be returned to you. We recommend you maintain your own copies of all documents.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of your personal and financial information. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law or with your written consent. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any errors or omissions is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:

• Penalties or interest resulting from inaccurate information provided by you
• Changes in tax law after a return is filed
• Delays caused by your failure to provide timely information
• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

IRS Representation

If you engage us for IRS representation, you authorize us to represent you before the IRS regarding the specific matter for which we are engaged. This authorization may require you to sign IRS Form 2848 (Power of Attorney).

Electronic Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time while still receiving service-related communications.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If we cannot resolve the dispute, it may be submitted to binding arbitration in Cook County, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You remain responsible for fees for services already performed. Upon termination, we will return your documents and provide any completed work product.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflict of law principles.
